Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq

Biography details
Dr. Saqib Siddiq served Govt. of the Punjab Health Department for more than 30 years and retired as Professor / HOD Obstetrics & Gynaecology SIMS/Services Hospital, Lahore. He was member of the team who pioneered first IVF baby of Pakistan in 1989. He has singular honour of introducing ICSI & PGD technology in this country.
Another, feather in the cap, he provided technical support to establish first IVF center in Bangladesh.
He is CEO of Mid City Hospital/ Saqib Fertility & IVF Center Lahore. He is patron of Society of Obstetrician and Gynaecology of Pakistan, Lahore chapter.
He is Joint Secretary of Health Care Associates (Organization of Private Hospitals). He is past joint secretary of SOGP Pakistan and Past General Secretary of IVF Society of Pakistan.
He was awarded Special Governor’s Award on 75th Anniversary of Pakistan in recognition of his services for women health.
He is currently vice president of IVF Society of Pakistan.
General Information
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq is one of the pioneers of IVF treatment in Pakistan which was introduced in 1989. He then established the ICSI treatment for the first time in Pakistan. Along with Saqib IVF, he was also responsible of setting up the first IVF center in Bangladesh. With his untiring efforts, sincerity with his profession and with the grace of Allah Almighty a large number of couples have been blessed with the bounties of parenthood quantifying remarkable success and birth rates
Education
Prof. Saqib Siddiq is Former Joint Secretary of Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Pakistan (SOGP).
He is currently Patron of Society Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Pakistan (SOGP) Lahore Chapter.
He is also Founding President Pakistan Reproductive Health and PCOS Society (PRHPS) which focuses on Women Suffering from PCOS which leads to infertility in Women.

He has Also Served as Head of Department & Prof. Of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Akhtar Saeed Medical College after Retiring from Government Service, for 7/8 Years, Masha’Allah!!!!
